Our History
Black Shepherd Auto (BSA) began life as a cross-country automotive transporter based in Southeastern PA. This eventually expanded to include buying Ford Superduty trucks to bring home on an otherwise empty back-haul for parts. Today, BSA only hauls for itself while in pursuit of Superduty parts trucks.
After a history in auto mechanics since the very early 1990's, and specializing in 1999-2003 Superduty and Excursion parts, we have zeroed in on the 4R100/E4OD transmission to make a highly reliable unit that won't break the bank. We have researched, developed and proof-tested many modifications that will increase the reliability and longevity of the 4R100/E4OD by eliminating its weaknesses.
