The Transmissions

This transmission is great for a daily driver, mild towing and plowing, low demand working trucks, and anyone who just wants a reliable unit that will outlast any stock or factory build.  This transmission will shift like new, but will have a tremendous increase in reliability, longevity, and power handling.

This unit includes the following:

• New premium frictions and components
• Custom clearancing throughout after initial blueprinting and inspection
• Machine work to eliminate all factory weaknesses and failures
• Machined clutch assemblies to allow for additional full-thickness frictions and steels
• Our unique zero-clearance center support stack
• Elimination of forward drum failure
• Hydraulic modifications to increase holding power and reduce slippage and leakage
• Modified valving for dependable shifting and consistent feel
• Available for 7.3 and 6.8 powered trucks

This transmission is also great for a daily driver, but is built with a higher work demand in mind.  Heavy towing, heavier working trucks, dedicated plow trucks, and anyone who just wants a reliable unit that they can throw any added weight they want onto, will do well with this unit.  This transmission will shift a little quicker but will still be pleasant to daily drive.

• A custom torque converter tailored to support the duty level of the truck

The Performer units can be built for any horsepower level for performance and competition applications, and include the following:

• Machine work to eliminate all factory weaknesses and failures
• Machined clutch assemblies to allow for additional full-thickness frictions and steels
• Our unique zero-clearance center support stack
• Elimination of forward drum failure
• Hydraulic modifications to increase holding power and reduce slippage and leakage
• Modified valving for dependable shifting and consistent feel
• Stability enhancements to reduce parasitic losses while allowing for better dispersion of critical stress
• Improved concentricity of internal rotating parts to minimize vibration and transmit more horsepower to the wheels 
• High strength steel internals in failure areas depending on hp requirements
• Thrust washers replaced with roller bearings in critical high rotational areas
• Significant drum strengthening to prevent catastrophic failure
• Machined pump and control bodies for improved power handling performance
• A custom torque converter tailored to support the performance level of the truck

Each of the units includes a specific torque converter custom built to match the performance level of the transmission.  These are NOT mass-produced eBay torque converters, they are expertly hand-built the same way we build the transmissions.

Just as with the transmissions, an acceptable core is required with purchase. 

We do not sell torque converters separately.
